Lake Redding Regatta
August 16-17 2025
Get ready to experience history in the making! The iconic Lake Redding Regatta is making a comeback on August 16-17, 2025. Relive the excitement of this legendary race on the Sacramento River, first held from 1933 to 1939.
This one to two-mile race on the Sacramento River features categories for standup paddleboards, kayaks and canoes, with age divisions ranging from 16 to 70+. The race will start on Saturday with 1 mile recreational and 2 mile pro classes. Sunday will be pro class 2 mile only along with the relay race and crew race. Itineraries will be emailed to participants. But we hope to see everyone both days!
Spectators can enjoy vendors, live music, and food while on shore during the race.
